If you are remodeling, repair or painting at home, at school or child care center built before 1978?

Since April 22, 2010, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulates RRP requires that employers doing renovation, repair, painting projects that disturb more than 6 square feet of lead based paint in homes, schools and facilities childcare built before 1978 must be certified and ready to observe, in particular, safe work practices to prevent contamination of lead.

It is possible to reduce exposure of children to dangerous driving, get your child checked, examine your home (particularly if your home has paint in poor condition and was made before 1978), and correct potential hazards can be.

The federal agency requires that, individuals who perform lead paint (inspection, reduction and risk assessment) in nurseries and homes occupied by their goal to be trained and certified. Certified instructors are certified by the EPA to ensure quality, qualified people must meet specific work practices to control lead hazards are handled.

  1. Those safety courses are very important and I hope that a lot of employers and employees are making sure that they take it. Safety courses from OSHA such as the 30 or the 10 hr osha training are definitely very helpful as it:
    1. promotes safety in the workplace and,
    2. teaches workers on how to better do their jobs - smoother operations, less to no accidents, etc.
