EPA Lead Paint Training | Lead Certification Courses NY

Lead Certification

New Yotk, NY - Door installers, remodelers, window installers, painters, siding contractors, insulation contractors, plumbers, electricians, and any other contractors performing work in pre-1978 houses where there is often a possibility that lead-based paint will be disturbed or lead paint particles is going to be made will need to take Lead Certification Courses. In the rule, child-occupied establishments are defined as commercial, residential, or public structures where children under 6 years of age are present frequently.

The 8-hour EPA lead certification training course was developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA,) along with the U.S. HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) to teach RRP building contractors the best way to do something about safely in housing with lead paint. The ABLE Safety Consulting lead safety classes abide by the HUD’s Lead Safe Housing Rule and EPA’s RRP Rule simply because they’re being advised by certified EPA instructors. On the other hand, Lead-based paint certification course only certifies the person, not the company.

  1. Thanks for the post, lead based paint removal is an incredibly time consuming process that should only be done by professionals.
