OSHA Offers Safety Training Courses on Worker Safety and Health

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) have set a three-day training program event for federal agency employees accountable for maintaining federal employees safe and healthy at the workplace.

The OSHA Training Institute, in partnership with OSHA’s Office of Federal Agency Programs, will carry out various half-day training seminars that go over possible hazards, like ergonomics, distracted driving, hearing conservation, confined spaces, as well as fall protection. OSHA created this training program activity to make sure that federal workplaces have safety programs and standards in keeping with those in the non-public industry.

The OSHA safety training is going to be held July 30 – August 1, 2013, at the OSHA Training Institute (OTI). Enlistment will remain available until July 23, 2013. Finished sign up forms has to be emailed to OTI Student Services at oti.registration@dol.gov.

Government agency staff will never be imposed tuition or fees to be present at the OSHA training courses. Yet, Department of Labor regulations (DOL) will need OSHA to ask for tuition to non-public industry participants and federal government contractors.

OTI offers training and coaching in occupational safety and health for federal and state fulfillment officers, state consultants, various other federal agency workers and the non-public sector. To learn more on OTI, check out OSHA’s Directorate of Training and Education Site.
