NYC, New York - The OSHA 10 hour Outreach Training Program is a voluntary training course
designed to be an initiation to occupational safety and health problems. The
training courses are instructed by certified trainers who have carried out
OSHA's train-the-trainer training programs.
In 2004, around 300,000 personnel accomplished Outreach
Training programs. In 2008, over 675,000 personnel took part in OSHA Outreach
training courses. This expansion has happened as more industries have begun
which includes OSHA Outreach Training course as part of their overall training
programs Business sectors which have
adopted the training program include general contractors, building trades,
insurance companies as well as manufacturing firms.
There are basically two categories of OSHA Outreach
Training: OSHA 10-hr Construction and then OSHA 10-hr General Industry.
